In the Aconcagua neighborhood of Tres de Mayo, Mendoza, a field and a plaza were set up, an important space for this community. The work was decided by the neighbors in the Participatory Budget assemblies.
This new place for recreation and meeting is made up of a natural ground field, soccer goals, concrete benches, children’s games, lighting fixtures and a perimeter fence.
Another improvement that was made in the neighborhood, from the Directorate of Public Works and Services, was the layout of the main street that was also gravelled and the placement of led lights.
The works were managed together with the neighbors in EDEMSA, through the “Luz en casa” program, which, in addition to the extension of the electrical network for public lighting, included household connections.
